I should also mention, layer 3 is -NOT- needed on the switch. Layer 2 is fine,
but it should at capable of VLAN tagging/trunking on the ports. Could even be
something used or an older model that I have to get from eBay, etc. Just need
(24) fiber/SFP ports for a goofy setup at one customer.

Subject: [NTSysADM] 24port or 48port fiber switch

I have a couple of old Cisco WS-C3750-24FS-S switches that are 24 port fiber
switches, but all 100base-FX.

Looking to replace the switch to have (24) 1Gb Fiber/SFP ports, but need to do
it on the cheap. Usually I use HP switches, but, they don't have a cheap fiber
switch option. Anyone have some low-end/cheap solutions for fiber switches
they'd recommend? Thanks.
