I have a pair of Cisco ASA 5510s (previous generation, not what would be considered 'UTM') - We ended up green lighting their replacement with a pair of Juniper SRX550s. I'd take a look at the Juniper SRX 240H if you're looking at the ASA 5512. For not reason other than if you don't want to pay pricing cisco gets very aggressive when you're demoing a juniper/palo alto appliance.
