Hi Everyone, Just stuck with trying to get DSCP marking working for a remote desktop host.
For the clients I have created a computer Policy for QoS based on destination port 3389 and set dscp marking 34 for Assured forwarding. A wireshark capture shows this being set. On the remote desktop host I try a similar policy for based on Source port. When I wireshark the at the client, I can't see the return packet being marked. The RD Server is 2012 R2 on hyper-v Server 2008R2 I also have a Lync Sever running 2012R2 as it's OS on the same 2008r2 host and the QoS markings are working fine. Normally I would have this set at the router level, however due to some time constraints getting this fix by the provider is not an option this time round. Haven't managed to find much on Google that is of help. Most sites either talk about the inbuilt QoS of the RDP stream or prioritising the packets on the router. Any help is appreciated
