Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom for troubleshooting BranchCache? I'm trying to get it configured on a 2008R2 domain with Win7 clients. I've been through the deployment docs and things look correct, in fact based on the times to copy the same set of files a second time, I'm thinking that the cache portion is at least sort of working, but peer machines are not pulling data from the existing nodes in the branch. I'm doing distributed cache mode. The latency setting for network files has been set to 0 to force caching regardless of link speed.
All this is based on my timing tests to pull a 450MB file. Pulling it from the server takes about 2.5 minutes, from a peer machine manually takes about 45 seconds, but when I delete the directory tree and pull it from the server again it takes about 15 seconds.
