I think there are at least 3 ways to install printers via Group Policy.  As
someone else suggested, there’s a good chance it’s the link speed
threshold.  I know for sure that if the printer is assigned via a logon or
startup script, it won’t run over a slow link:

Not sure how that affects other methods of adding printers (preference
settings, Deployed Printers).

I have a group policy that should be adding the correct printers to anyone
that logs on to a workstation.

I have some users that float between WAN’s (or branches).

Why would these floaters not see the printers assigned to the workstations
when they log in?

(Windows 7 pc, Windows 2008 local server, Windows 2012 AD)?
