I have auditing setup on all my users' home directories. The auditing policy
is set at the shared folder, and auditing inheritance pulls that down to
everyone's actual home folder. Recently, we decided to change the permisions
that the users have with their home folders. We had issues where they would
give other people access to the folder, and use it as a working directory.
Well, we have other folders for that, so we were instructed to change the
permissions to Modify, not Full Control. That happened a couple of months ago.
Recently, I upgraded our auditing tool, and I've been getting some errors on
home folders. Upon investigation, the folders with the errors have had
auditing inheritance disabled, and no longer have the audit policy applied. As
I'm digging, I notice that so far, every folder that has had the auditing
inheritance broken, is an account where the user has Modify, not Full Control.

Does anyone have any idea why one would affect the other?
