We have also deployed Fortigate firewalls for many customers, with good
results. Much more feature rich than Sonicwall, and less expensive than Cisco.

Their support is good, in my opinion. Hold times can be quite long, though.

Happy Friday. I am using (or have customers using) a variety of Fortigate
models for various duties including VPN. I have no personal experience with
their virtualized models, though, although the OS features should be the same.

Happy Friday folks,

Hope it’s a quite one. We’re currently looking at implementing a Fortigate as
a VPN solution and I wanted to get some feedback on them, particularly with
respect to support, etc., from anyone currently using them. We’ll be
virtualizing this so there’s no physical device, just VMs.

Feel free to contact me off list if preferred.
