Mine does this when a whole bunch of mail piles in at once. Otherwise I get individual toasts.

My Outlook 2016 has recently stopped showing a preview of the message in the toast desktop alert. It now just says "there are new items in your mailbox" Did any of the recent Office patches take away the preview capability? Kevin
