Subject: Re: [NTSysADM] ALL Flash Storage

I think it's safe to say that AFAs are becoming the norm for general purpose
storage needs. If the primary use case is virtualization, I'd echo the previous
response regarding vSAN. We'll be evaluating new compute/storage architecture
this coming year and are looking heavily at the various HCI options in addition
to traditional storage arrays. If it's not too late, I would include a couple
of additional vendors in your initial round of evaluation.

What is eveyone’s thoughts on All Flash Storage?
I am looking to replace the Storage I have attached to my VNX5400 from EMC with
either:

EMC Unity

PureStorage

Nimble

I haven’t gotten all the proposals in yet but was wondering what everyone else
thought about them?
