Apart from Microsoft and Intel and Dell (not sure what your OEM is) stating that they do not support new platforms starting with Kaby Lake (Intel 7xxx gen) you might be able to circumvent it at the moment but do note that for future platforms, drivers might not be released for Windows 7 anymore.

As you probably know already, Windows Updates are blocked on these CPU. Are we screwed? How you folks managed this? Migrating our environment to W10 is not an option at this moment. Saw this patch made by Zeffy to bypass CPU check, it seems to work.. but I'm scared to deploy this in our production environment. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated
