I've used 8x8 in various configurations since about 2004 (when they were focused on the residential market as "Packet8").
Make sure you test, test, test whichever vendor you use in as real-world conditions as possible. I've seen 8x8 struggle for midsized orgs (200-300 users, 5-10 offices). Their most recent software release (earlier this month) is considerably more stable than the previous edition. You must have sufficient bandwidth. It must be quality bandwidth (low latency and jitter). Your LAN(s) should be well configured, and QoS is very helpful. Test, test, test.
