Look to make sure you don't have any services running with that Administrator Account.  You'll have to stop the service and restart using the new password if you do.

Subject: Change Admins Password

Hey guys,

I think it is about time for me to change the built in Domain administrator password. We have NT domain controllers and couple of W2K servers. Is there anything that I have to look into closely, before I go about doing this.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
