I am reading the resource kit and it is talking about 'the end of rougue
DHCP servers'. It states - "with Windows 2000 not just anyone can create a
DHCP server. Now, DHCP servers must be authorized in the Active Directory
before they're allowed to start handing out addresses".

Sorry for asking for what must be a very rookie question, but to install
DHCP on a Win2K domain, does Active Directory 'have' to be used.
