I use it for a lot of stuff. I like the ability to check and see what
hotfixes are installed. Just get a properties of the server or workstation
and it tells you.

Change passwords on all your clients for one... Select workstations, right
click & you're in business. Check out the macro functionality, you can
create a script to change 1 thing, select some workstations & execute that
script. I also use it to move shares between servers, local groups between
servers, etc... Had it for 3 years... Use it nearly everyday.

I downloaded the eval for Hyena, and you're right, I'm very impressed.
Haven't played too much, but exporting the user list as comma delimited and
into Excel was awesome. Just what the boss wanted. Now, I need to come up
with a list of other things to impress him with, so I can get him to buy the
software. Do you know of some "hidden" stuff? What other applications
would you use it for, besides the obvious of daily user administration?

Thanks,

When I saw the original question, I thought "That man needs to try the
30 day eval of Hyena.". Not only will Hyena give a nicely printed out list
of the users, it can dump that info to a tab-delimited file and you can
bring it into Excel and massage the info easily. Not commercially
affiliated, just a very satisfied customer. Try it! You'll like it!

(It's valuable for when the boss says, "Who has access to X share" or "Who's
on the admin lists in Y domain".)

We have "real" copies of Hyena - it's highly useful and very attractively
priced - but thanks all for their info (including Kevin for this tip) since
I haven't yet managed to make Hyena categorize my workgroup web servers.

www.adkins-resource.com has a downloadable, freeware copy of export.exe,
it's the engine that hyena uses.

Is there any easy way to print out a current list of all NT user accounts? I
did print screens, but there has to be an easier way.
