Subject: IE6 Frames Problem
Yesterday when we found we had the frames problem in IE6, M$ suggested
uninstalling IE6 so that IE5.5 would be active. We did that, but still had
the same problem. Today, M$ suggested that the problem was in the MLANG.DLL
and that it probably didn't get removed. I checked and found it to be true.
I renamed the DLL and copied the MLANG.DLL from one of our IE5.5 machines
and copied it into the Windows/system directory and replaced the IE6
version. That solved the problem, so it's obvious that the problem must be
in that DLL. So, for anyone who wants to revert back to an older IE version,
be sure to copy the MLANG.DLL that is the same version as the IE version
that you revert back to.
