I have used the Belkin 4 port professional, Raritan 8 port, Tripp Lite 4
port and the Belkin 4 port standard. For the money I think the Raritan
is awesome. It allows you to connect different types of machine like a
MAC or PC, or even a UNIX box. You pay for that luxury but hey its worth
it. If you don't need that Belkin 4 port professional is pretty good but
stay away from the balking 4 port standard I had a problem with the
mouse always loosing its signal and the only way to get it back was to
shutdown and restart.

I use Belkin myself, and it has an extender. I have a 4port on my desk,
with the 4th port going to the extender in my server room to the 16port
in
there so I can manage all my systems from my desktop.

Subject: URGENT!!! KVM Recommendations needed

Need recommendations for KVM switch, 6 to 8 port, something that
doesn't flounder looking for mice/keyboards, extensible(if possible)
with CAT5 or over IP.

Have up to $1000 US to spend on this, but am in emergency mode trying
to find the best solution.

Usually would look around a lot and test stuff, but have a wild hair
happening over here.

Any advice would be very very appreciated.

Thanks!
