I don't know if you have any budget constraints, but you may want to weight
the cost of buying new equipment with the cost of getting a "multi-modem"
card (I don't think that is the name, but you know what I mean) and putting
that inside either Windows NT Terminal Server or Windows 2000 Server with
Terminal Services running and RRAS.  You can upgrade the physical link of
the wire, and keep the data/email within the network itself, thus increasing
the overall speed of the link.

Just a thought.

Subject:        OT: Provide 56K dial-up

We are begining to aquire salespeople that spend 90% of their time out of
the office and would like to be able to dial-in to our network for
files/email.  Currently we use a Lantronix LRS-16 for dial-in and it is too
slow for them.  What kind of equipment/services am I looking at to be able
to provide as close to 56k dial-up as possible?

thanks
