If you're just looking for processor info as opposed to a benchmark, try
SRVINFO from the resource kit.
It will display info similar to the following:
CPU[0]: x86 Family 6 Model 8 Stepping 3: 730 MHz

Was just wondering if any of you out there have run into a decent and simple
command-line utility that displays the current machine's processor speed
(and works with most of todays processors) - and displays text output (not
graphs)? I'd like something like that so I could use it in a little
script.. most of what I've seen so far is remote utilities (like what comes
with the ResKits) - and those are great, but not exactly what I need.
Anyone seen anything simple like this?
