This list is meant to be used for help/advice on NT issues

Will you guys take this discussion else where.

I fully understand what you are saying on this now. for if they did cause a break-up in the Microsoft org. than that is what we all would be doing. that is when we can't find an answer to our problems ect.  or call them for support and they tell you that you have to go to another division  or for that type of problem. Or a separate dept. to handle it and the support for that section. for if there was to be a break-up!!  than each of us would be discussing this else where!!!!

and since I make my income of "45/80 .00an hr from windows.  and as most of you all do. I just felt like it was something that should be brought up ect. as I figured that nt was a part of the Microsoft/windows DOJ case against them.

Thank you for pointing these things out for me!!

I do believe that the state of the DoJ's case against MS is extremely relevant to NT System Administration. While not the same as having someone help you fix a print server problem, it is important information that you should know as an administrator of Microsoft's systems.

* MICROSOFT HOLDS THE LINE ON 2002 REVENUES

Microsoft says that its July revenues prediction for the current

fiscal year is still on track and that the release of Windows XP in

October will boost the company's financial performance. Microsoft Chief

Financial Officer (CFO) John Connors, in Boston this week for a

technology conference, reiterated that he expects the company to hit

its revenue target of $28.8 billion to $29.6 billion for the fiscal

year ending June 30, 2002. The first quarter, which ends in October,

will be soft, Connors said, but the second quarter will be a different

story.
