TCP/IP - yep. We have about 250 Printers and if you run webjetadmin the
printer gets an error - I cannot remember what the error is right now but it
barks an error and you have to recycle the printer. We have several 4000's
but it seems to be the only one that puts up a stink.

I have received errors on only one HP Printer, an older 4000 takes a crap
everytime we use webjetadmin. Would you know what we might turn off on that
printer so that it does not hear the webjetadmin requests?

WebJetAdmin is a fairly powerful printer management application. One
warning: It runs in a java applet. WebJetAdmin wants you to use HPs
TCP/IP port, which has been known to cause errors with certain older HP
LaserJet printers. One good thing about the software is the ability to
create the port, printer, printer share, and snmp information in ONE step.
Much easier than NTs add a printer..........wizard
