Confusion at Microsoft

Hi   I am confused.... At the Windows Update site Microsoft tells me that my system has all the patches to make it secure and yet when I go to the MPSA site http://www.microsoft.com/technet/mpsa/start.asp I find that I have at least seven patches still to install?
