I like what CNN has done.

 

It seems they've stripped ads and unnecessary info from sites that they may load quicker and provide info to more people, faster.

There are people reporting flu symptoms in NYC. Some people are
suggesting a second wave of attacks via biological warfare. This is
truly a horrible day, and I am caught right in the middle of it. This is
one day I wish I didn't live in NY and work in NYC!
