Not a precise answer, but here are my
thoughts having worked with a mixed network in my last job:
Not sure IPX would be needed if all
your servers are Netware 5, and your network is entirely
TCP/IP
The Gateway service for Netware requires a
user (or is it Group?) called NTGATEWAY onyour Novell Box with Administrator
rights (we used NDS corporate as Netware held all user accounts)
Using the Novell client should give your
secure logins but I couldn't say where in the process you'd use it - i'd guess
after the dial in has connected successfully to your W2K box
