NMAP, it's free too.  The command line only version is available for NT, the GUI is available for U*IX flavors, I think LINUX and BSD only.

Subject: Port Scanner

Hello All,

Does anybody know of some good port scanners. I have one but it seems to
cause conflicts with virus scanners so i am looking for an alternative.
Mainly I would like it to have the ability to scan ports thru a selected
ranger as well as scan hosts in a particular ip range. Any help would be
appreciated. TIA!!
