You need to get Antigen (or another scrubber) and remove any intrusive
attachments. I scrub for about 30 extensions and no one has complained after
the first week. My user's know that anyone who brings something in by
vouching for a particular file is dog meat.

Suggest you export out the key bits of the registry you need to a .reg file
and email that to them to click on, I sense urgency here ??!!

do you have windows scripting host on the machines?

You let batch files go through you e-mail system? Why then are you worried
about having them log off, you're already courting disaster.

I dont really want to have to get the users to log out. I would prefer to
send them batch file via e-mail they can just double click on.

policies would be better than a script, just requires the user to logon
again once the change has replicated

Hi All,

Does anyone know if/how you can change the LAN settings in IE 5 and
above on win 98 SE via a script?
As we have 2 links to the internet and would like to change the settings in
one go.

Regards Caine
