Hey Charlie,
I dunno if this is classified as an 'easy' way, but I'd do it like this
(and I'm working from memory here since I'm using Win2K now):
Logon to the WS as the domain user, and logout again (once the new profile
has been created). Logon to the WS as a local administrator and either
right click on My Computer and go to properties or go to the System Control
panel. One of the tabs there should be 'user profiles'. In there, find
the old users' profile, and use the copy button to copy this profile to the
directory where the domain profile is now located (if the local username
was asmith and the domain username is also asmith, then the domain profile
would be called asmith.000).
If there is a better way to do this, then let me know, as we've had
problems with profiles before, and they can be a right pain to work with...
Cheers
G.

Please respond

Admin Issues"
I am about to move several NT4.0 workstation users from workgoups to a
domain. Is there a simple way to change their workgroup profile to a domain
profile?
