Nimba virus hidden

This w2k server SP1 got the Nimba virus,  thought I got rid of it but, when I do a backup it says the virus is still in the computer,  I do a Norton virus scan and Norton says that there are no viruses???  I know what is going to have to happen I'm going to have to reinstall, but just seeing if anyone has had this problem.   Thanks Beldon http://www.sunbelt-software.com/ntsysadmin_list_charter.htm
