Just thought of some more trouble-shooting procedures:
Can you ping valid IP addresses on the internet (like your Internet DNS
servers)?
Can you resolve valid URL's to their IP addresses (like www.yahoo.com)?
The comment below about the gateway on your internal NIC is my best guess
at the problem here...
Cheers

Please respond
to "NT System
Admin Issues"
Just a quick one: Have you enabled IE to auto detect the connection? Do
you have any port filtering set on either nics? Make sure you have not
given the internal Nic a gateway it doesn't need it. To connect the
internal machines you are going to need a proxy/ISA or RRAS. Have you
given the external Nic the DNS addresses of the external DNS servers
from your ISP? Are you using forwarders on your internal DNS?

Subject: W2k PDC and Internet Issue..
Hi all,
This must be obvious...but I'm stucked...
I got a Dell box, with W2K, SP2, configured as PDC with AD, running DHCP
etc. I have added another NIC to get connected to the Internet via XDSL.
I have configured the new NIC with an "official" IP add., subnet,
gateway and DNS, but still I cant surf on from the PDC or any other
computers in the domain. The strange thing is that I can ping the new
NIC ip add. from another internet connection. Any comment will be
appreciated!
TIA
Khurram
