Sorry for the Off-Topic, but I think it has some relevance to what many of us do. How do you handle internal employee training, especially for custom developed apps or non-mainstream software where you can't easily buy a book, video, or CBT? Does anyone develop their own training? Do you administer it by way of a classroom environment, custom made or purchased Computer Based Training, combination of the two, or something different? Is this work done internally or contracted out? If you do develop your own training materials what development tools do you use (ie: a tool like Macromedia Authorware or Visual Basic) and how do you deliver it (ie: CD-ROM, Intranet, classroom.) Are there any pitfalls you've stumbled upon in developing your own training materials (ie: cost, time, continuity between authors?) Do you include basic Windows literacy, computer security, and/or company policies in this training? Thanks for any information. Regards, John Brozycki Want to unsub?
