The Windows Update site is good for most stuff, but you really need to use
the Hot Fix Check tool that MS spits out. Otherwise you're missing out on
alot of stuff. I'm afraid I can't remember the URL though...

How well does the windows update site do the job? I understand that I
still
have to patch other non os related crap myself, but for the os portion how
well does it do.
