Typically, you'd set this up on the server-side (if the server software
supported and you had access). If done correctly the Auto-responder sets
the headers thusly:
Return-Path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Messages from "null" should not be accepted by list servers. Any time you
see an auto-responder message on a list, it is usually because the user set
it up on the client side or it was done improperly by the server software.
