Exchange will require a 3rd Party app - search the archives. My vote is Antigen by Sybari

 

Client side - There is a program the  will allow you to unblock attachments in Outlook 2000+ (to get around the security patch). It should also allow you to block. Name: Outlook restricted attachment options

I do not know tha answer but I've bookmarked the http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/929/ page earlier today. Its topic is

"Modify the Outlook 2002 and Office XP Attachment Restrictions"

 

I don't have time to check it myself.

Anyone know how to block attachments with the extention of .mp_?

 

 

im running windows 2000 AD, and Exchange 5.5 , with the outlook security patches in place.

in addition we are running NAVSE
