You could the printer via a login script by inserting the following line:
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /in /n \\SERVERNAME\PRINTERSHARENAME <file://\\SERVERNAME\PRINTERSHARENAME>
This will only work for Win2K clients.
Set up the computer the way you want it to be (software, printers, etc.). Make sure that the only profile that exists on the machine is the one you used to set it up (presumably the local administrator). Also be sure that you're showing the hidden files and folders.
Now, do properties of My Computer, and click the User Profiles tab. Your setup profile should be highlighted. Click the Copy To button. Copy it to C:\documents and settings\default user, and change the Permitted to Use to Everyone.
That should do it.

Subject: Adding AD printers to multiple profiles in Win2K
Does anyone know of a procedure to add an Active Directory printer to all profiles on a Win2K Pro box? If you add a printer under 1 profile, it does not populate to the rest of the profiles on that box.
Thanks
