Not sure if it would work with drive failure, although you could probably scrape some data. Im looking for an alternative way to possibly take a handful of servers and put vss onto a remote storage area. Allowing me not only increased capacity but some redundancy. Obviously it cant be used for a rebuild, but Im tasked to find an answer. I was toying with vssadmin and making alternate paths.
