I've asked this question here before and no one was able to come up when an answer. I just happen to come across a work around for this and though I would share.
You can asign a metric number to each NIC. The card with the lowest metric is the one that windows will use when more than one NIC is active. Network Connections --> NIC --> TCPIP --> Advanced --> Interface Metric.
