It is a little unclear what you are wanting to do. But if you just want to
update records in the DNS, then dnscmd.exe can do this for you.

Thanks for the hint, it seems what I'm looking for.
What I need to do is take a bunch of DNS entries and change them to
point to a different IP address.
Let's imagine we have several dns entries
site1.domain.com 192.168.1.20
site2.domain.com 192.168.1.20
site3.domain.com 192.168.1.40
site4.domain.com 192.168.1.40
What I want is that any entry that points to 192.168.1.40 is changed to
192.168.1.20, so I'd have:
site1.domain.com 192.168.1.20
site2.domain.com 192.168.1.20
site3.domain.com 192.168.1.20
site4.domain.com 192.168.1.20
I'd prefer not to make a command line for each site (it is a long list)
but rather go through all the entries that are pointing to 192.168.1.40
and change them to point to 192.168.1.20
Is that possible with one command line?
Thanks,
Miguel
