And what do these errors say? -----Original Message----- From: Rishi Kumar [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, January 07, 2008 9:39 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: W32Time
Hey everyone. Can someone tell me the proper setup for domain Time Synch. I have set our PDC Emulator to get it's time from an external reliable source. Then I have followed the instructions to set all other servers up with default settings so it can use the normal domain hierarchy to receive its time. I get SEVERAL W32time errors throughout the day now. If I reboot the Server... the errors stay away for about a day or so... but keep repeating after that. Any ideas or suggestions? This is the only one in the enterprise and for a few more hours will be the only one to which I have access... I've fumbled around for a while now... How does one get the file extensions do display? For all files and for all folders? I notice the user profiles are now done completely differently than as for Win200x/WinXP, and I'm sure to run across other surprises as well. Any pointers to an administrator's "comic book" which shows the differences between doing things and finding things in Vista vs previous versions of Win?
