OK, so I took advantage of a failed XP machine, which happened to have a DVD drive, to build a Windows Vista machine. This is the only one in the enterprise and for a few more hours will be the only one to which I have access...
I've fumbled around for a while now... How does one get the file extensions do display? For all files and for all folders? I notice the user profiles are now done completely differently than as for Win200x/WinXP, and I'm sure to run across other surprises as well. Any pointers to an administrator's "comic book" which shows the differences between doing things and finding things in Vista vs previous versions of Win?
