Hi chaps,
Can i pick the collective sub-conscious for a moment ? I have a problem with viewing some websites on my laptop running Vista business, though only a few certain sites. Mainly, if i got to the dell site i can use it all, I can build a server spec, but when I add it to the basket my browser just sits there waiting for configure.euro.dell.com and then eventually comes up with a DNS error. This is on IE7, but happens on FF 2 and FF3 on the same laptop. This happens whether I'm at work, home, or anywhere else. I get a similar thing with Ebay. I can view the categories, and i can browse them to find items. If I search for an item and click the search button, eventually I get a DNS error. Same also goes for a suppliers website (Ingram Micro). I can view everything but search results, which kinda makes it hard to use. I don't have a firewall installed, just NOD32 as the AV. I have no proxy or anything odd extension-wise in either browser. I can ping configure.euro.dell.com and connect to it on port 80. Any ideas what may be going on ?
