What are your requirements for MDM? We brought in Good a couple of years ago, after our (new, at the time) CEO brought in her iPhone and got the help of the old CEO to get it running with ActiveSync (not over wifi). I had not turned of ActiveSync on mailboxes as it simply wasn't on my radar.
I had to do some serious footstomping to get GFE in, but there were a few vocal members of staff who didn't like it at all. It interrupted their flow of experience, or some damn thing. The last straw seems to have been that when they got a reminder, the Good interface didn't show the subject line for the reminder - they had to put in the password to see it. The Android doesn't have that problem, and I pointed that out to them, but they were not amused. So, GFE is going out the door, and we're relying on the E2k3 AcitveSync management for now - until we upgrade to E2010, which I've never seen, but have been promised by the IT manager is at least adequate. I have my doubts. At least I was able to set policy so that ActiveSync is turned off when an account is created, and turned on only as needed, but I still feel a cold breeze once in a while...
