Rebooting was not the issue I saw but getting the patches assigned to the machines was an issue. A lot of clicks for little work. I don't know if I will be able to influence them into looking at anything else. I am way down the pole, and happy to be down here but if I end up with patch management I may have a go at getting them to at least look at something else. I mean assigning patches on a machine by machine basis is a little much when you are dealing with more than 100 machines and I have no clue how many they have.
