And make sure the computer accounts (domain computers group for all systems) 
have at least read access to the shares and files that need to be run.  You can 
test whether things will work under the system account (used during startup 
scripts) by connecting to the machine with psexec (sysinternals/Microsoft 
tools) and launching cmd.

Subject: Boggling machine startup script issue.



Having trouble with a couple of simple machine side startup scripts that are 
not working. I usually have no problem with these but they are starting to 
annoy me.



Two simple machine GPO's to run bat files.  Gpresult shows them there. The 
registry shows them there yet they are not accomplishing their intended goal. 
One installs Flash 9 and the other installs Java 6. Hitting the bat file 
manually and they run error free.



Not sure where else to look to trouble shoot this, nothing in the event logs.
