If I was to have 3 24" monitors I would make one of them be above the other two. I have dual 23" now and one is almost directly in front of me slightly to my left and I struggle to see stuff to the far right on the second monitor and I have decent vision. I run 1920x1080. I was thinking about running two 27" but when I looked at a 27" and imagined a second one I figured I would need binoculars to see the outer edges of the screen to my right.
