Oh, that wouldn't be enough... I now have two 1500VA CyberPower units -- one for each Hyper-V host server I also have two 1000VA APC units -- one for my desktop (and peripherals) and one for the boys computer (and peripherals) I have the switches, routers and WiFi on an APC 500 unit (soon to be a CyberPower 600VA)
Various other peripherals, like NAS and USB drives, are spread across the other units. I have one 1000VA with a bad battery that is a spare (once I get its battery replaced). Virtualization has made things much easier, in many ways. * * *ASB* *http://XeeMe.com/AndrewBaker* *Harnessing the Advantages of Technology for the SMB market… * On Thu, Sep 1, 2011 at 2:06 PM, Jonathan Link <[email protected]>wrote: > In ASB's case, it's probably just barely (or not) enough. > > He runs a lot of infrastructure. > > On Thu, Sep 1, 2011 at 2:03 PM, John Aldrich <[email protected] > > wrote: > >> Oh, I agree… I was just thinking that TWO 1500 VA UPSs was too many for >> one person and ASB needed to “share the wealth” J**** >> >> ** ** >> >> [image: John-Aldrich][image: Thread-Count]**** >> >> ** ** >> >> *From:* Paul Hutchings [mailto:[email protected]] >> *Sent:* Thursday, September 01, 2011 2:00 PM >> >> *To:* NT System Admin Issues >> *Subject:* RE: The U in UPS stands for...?**** >> >> ** ** >> >> John, trust me, have your PC or at least one PC with all your management >> tools and "comfort zone" on a UPS.
