Anyone ever used Appremover to get rid of an unwanted antivirus app? I know from past experience that getting rid of some antivirus apps is like pulling hen's teeth (Symantec/Norton in particular.) According to the review on CNET's download.com this program detects and completely gets rid of these antivirus/anti-malware apps so you can reinstall or install a new one.
Since I'm probably going to be installing Vipre on a private client's PC this evening which currently has some sort of Symantec on it, I thought I'd try to find the Symantec uninstaller again.
