Is there a general 'rule of thumb' as to when you should use child domains in multiple site setups? If you have two sites, A and B, joined by a VPN, each planning on have a Windows server running a GC, is it 'best' to have each setup as a child domain (ie server1.A.mydomain.com and server2.B.mydomain.com etc) or is it 'best' to have them running as one domain (ie server1.mydomain.com and server2.mydomain.com) etc ?
