Lync 2010 and Sharepoint2010 seem to indicate they are planning on it being 
around :)

Not really (killing Silverlight).
Or at least that's my understanding from a vendor who is providing a service 
based on Silverlight.
As far as I can tell, they're just not trying to make it a substitute for Flash.

Why would it be? They're MSFT is killing Silverlight in favor of
HTML5, aren't they?
