The Wyse product does have an setting when you configure your connection for the RD Gateway Server. Now, this is on my Dell Streak 7 which is an Android based device. I would suggest that you go to the Wyse Pocket Cloud web page and see if that is also an option for the iPad version.
Oh, and for grins, I have tried using the Dolphin Browser and was able to login to our RD Website. But, when getting to the next screen, I couldn't see anything, even though there should have been some icons on that screen. Didn't get any errors. Besides that ActiveX Control should already be included on XP SP3. If you are getting an error when trying to access your RD Website, and it says that you need that ActiveX Control, it just may not be Enabled.
