If all you're looking for is roaming across access points, that will happen automatically. Just give all the APs the same SSID and crypto config, and put them all in the same broadcast domain (i.e., cable them all to the same network switch (ordinary switch)). I haven't really looked into it, but the centrally-located wireless equipment designs I've seen use special APs, moving some intelligence out of the AP and into the central equipment. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
