My Dad bought a new PC without Office, and then wanted to be able to write
docs, use xls, etc. I got him up and running on Office 365. There is a huge
learning curve, and I don’t think he may ever get it completely. You would
think that Microsoft would do a better job with the interface. Its clumsy.

I use Office 365 for my carlwebster.com domain and am happy with the service.
$6/month is not bad for a one man shop. I don’t have to bug MBS hardly ever
now about all my e-mail issues when my e-mail was on a GoDaddy server.

Anyone on the list using "cloud" services? I looked at Office 365 and found it
to be far more expensive than what I pay now. But, I can see replicating my
web sites and databases to a cloud just for the space.
